01 · The Bali hospitality operator landscape

Built for the operational middle.

Bali hospitality is no longer simple website + PMS widget + WhatsApp. Operators now compete on direct bookings, owner transparency, multilingual guest journeys, operational record-keeping, and operational visibility. We work with serious hospitality businesses that have outgrown WordPress, Notion, spreadsheets, and basic booking widgets — but do not need enterprise hotel software like OPERA Cloud.

Five operator segments we work with

01 · SEGMENT

Villa management companies

8–160+ villas

For operators managing multiple villas and reporting back to property owners. We build owner portals, RevPAR dashboards, booking visibility, payout logic, maintenance tracking, and portfolio-level reporting.

02 · SEGMENT

Boutique hotels & branded resorts

24–150 keys

For hotels and resorts that already use Cloudbeds, Mews, Hotelogix, OpenHotel, or similar PMS tools — but need a stronger direct-booking and guest-facing layer. We build high-converting websites, direct booking flows, multilingual journeys, payment routing, and operational dashboards.

03 · SEGMENT

Wellness retreats & transformation programs

7–30 day programs

Retreats are not normal nightly accommodation businesses. They need program scheduling, pre-arrival forms, group handling, health intake, facilitator logic, and retreat-specific booking flows. Detailed page: Wellness Retreat Platforms.

04 · SEGMENT

Branded villa portfolios & serviced residences

5–40 units

For branded accommodation operators who need direct booking, guest communications, multi-unit visibility, add-on sales, and consistent digital operations across several properties.

05 · SEGMENT

Multi-brand hospitality groups

2–5 brands

For groups running several villa portfolios, hotels, retreats, or hybrid brands. We build shared data backbones, brand-specific front ends, cross-brand reporting, and unified operator dashboards.

02 · Scenarios that bring operators to us

Typical problems we solve.

Most operators come to us when the business has grown, but the platform layer has not.

01 · Manual owner reporting

Owner reporting is still manual

You manage multiple villas, but owner reporting still happens through spreadsheets, PDFs, screenshots, or Notion pages. We build owner portals where each owner can see bookings, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, maintenance status, payouts, and monthly performance.

Multi-property operator platform
02 · OTA commissions too high

OTA commissions are too high

You rely heavily on Booking.com, Airbnb, Agoda, or Vrbo — but your own website does not convert well enough. We rebuild the direct-booking layer so guests can search, compare, book, pay, and receive confirmation without being sent back to OTAs.

Direct Booking Engine
03 · Fragmented records

Operational records are fragmented

Guest reporting, property documents, booking history, payouts, and adviser-requested records often sit across folders, spreadsheets, and manual processes. We build structured operational workflows that help your team capture data consistently, keep records visible per property, and export the information needed by your qualified local advisers.

Operational records & reporting workflows
04 · APAC bounce

APAC guests bounce

International guests do not convert if the site only has a weak language switcher. We build managed multilingual flows — per-language URLs, hreflang, CMS workflow and localised enquiry or booking journeys — as part of the parent website or booking platform engagement. Priority markets are scoped around the operator's actual audience and content owner, not a default APAC checklist.

Discuss the multilingual layer
05 · Retreat + villa hybrid

Retreats and villas do not fit one PMS

Hybrid operators often run nightly stays and multi-day retreat programs in parallel. We build the layer that connects accommodation inventory, retreat schedules, pre-arrival forms, group bookings, and operator dashboards.

06 · Pre-launch brand

You are launching a new hospitality brand

For pre-launch villa portfolios, boutique hotels, or hospitality groups, we design the platform before operations become messy. This can include direct booking, PMS setup, owner reporting, payment flows, multilingual structure, and the operational-records workflow.

Pre-launch hospitality architecture

04 · Where we fit in your stack

We do not replace your PMS.

Most operators already use Cloudbeds, Guesty, Lodgify, Mews, Hotelogix, OpenHotel, or OPERA Cloud. That can stay. We build the missing engineering layer around it: direct booking, owner visibility, guest portals, compliance-related records, APAC localization, and operational dashboards. Integration scope depends on your PMS, subscription tier, available API access and operational requirements — we verify those dependencies during System Mapping before committing to build scope.

05 · Architecture principles

How we build hospitality systems.

01

Direct booking is architecture, not a button

A 'Book now' button is not enough. We build the full direct-booking journey: search, availability, pricing, payment, confirmation, pre-arrival flow, and tracking.

02

Owner transparency wins management contracts

Villa owners increasingly expect live visibility, not monthly spreadsheets. Owner portals, RevPAR dashboards, payout views, and maintenance history help operators compete on trust.

03

Operational records belong inside the system

Licences, property documents, payouts, and adviser-requested records often sit in disconnected folders. We surface them inside the platform — a document repository, expiry reminders, an audit trail on bookings and payouts, and exportable reports formatted for your accountants and licensed advisers.

04

PMS stays. The platform layer improves.

We do not try to rebuild Cloudbeds, Guesty, Mews, or Lodgify. We build the layer they usually do not cover well: direct-booking conversion, owner reporting, compliance-related records, multilingual APAC journeys, and multi-currency flows.

06 · Why H-Studio

Why operators work with us.

01

Bali-based delivery context

We maintain a Bali presence and design systems around the practical realities of operating in Indonesia: local payment providers, multilingual guest journeys, PMS integrations, and compliance-related operational records — coordinated with the operator's own licensed advisers.

02

Operator-grade platform experience

Our work includes PropTech, facility management, SaaS marketplaces, and workflow platforms with similar logic: inventory, dashboards, roles, payments, reporting, audit trails, and multi-market operations.

03

Senior team only

You work with the same senior team from mapping to build and ongoing support. No junior rotation. No handover chaos.

04

Your code stays yours

We build with standard technologies: Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL. Your code lives in your GitHub. Your platform stays portable. No proprietary lock-in.

05

Built for different maturity stages

Best fit: operators managing 5+ properties, or a smaller operation with real booking, owner-reporting or retreat-program complexity. We support growing operators with 15–30 villas, larger operators with 60–160+ villas, and hospitality groups with several brands. The architecture can expand without a full rebuild.

06

Honest about what software can and cannot do

A platform will not replace service quality, property maintenance, staff training, or hospitality strategy. It removes operational friction, improves visibility, and gives your team better infrastructure to run the business.

09 · FAQ
  1. 01

Are single-villa owners a good fit?

Usually not. This type of platform work is best suited to operators managing several properties, running a retreat or branded hospitality concept, or dealing with real complexity such as owner reporting, direct booking, guest workflows or multiple revenue streams.

  2. 02

Do we need to switch PMS?

No. We usually build on top of your existing PMS: Cloudbeds, Guesty, Lodgify, Mews, Hotelogix, OpenHotel, or similar.

  3. 03

Can you build an owner portal?

Yes. Owner portals can include booking data, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, maintenance status, monthly payouts, documents, and operational flags. Legal, licensing and tax interpretation remains with your qualified Indonesian advisers.

  4. 04

    Can you integrate WhatsApp Business?

Yes. We can connect WhatsApp Business API for guest communication, inquiry routing, pre-arrival flows, and service add-ons.

  5. 05

Can the platform handle different owner contracts?

Yes. We can model different commission structures, payout rules, property-specific costs, reporting logic, and owner visibility levels.

  6. 06

    Can you support APAC languages?

Yes. We can build proper multilingual infrastructure for English, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian, or other priority markets — including localized contact and payment flows where relevant.

  7. 07

Can guests pay in multiple currencies?

Yes. Depending on provider setup, we can support IDR, USD, EUR, and selected regional payment methods through Stripe, Xendit, Midtrans, or other providers.

  8. 08

What happens if we stop working together?

The code, documentation, and infrastructure remain yours. Another engineering team can continue from the repository and documentation.
